Tom Sawyer video now available: Media/YouTube

November 15, 2006
I swear I'm going to do this more often.
Fortunately, there's this new thing on the Internet called YouTube that has enabled me to post my drumming videos without taxing my bandwidth.  (Though I do have a lot of bandwidth and I don't know why I don't use it...)

Do this: go to Media, or go to my YouTube video page and look at what I've been doing and leave comments.

Another long while to update.  Well, I finally have some stuff for you to peruse: http://www.soundclick.com/bands/5/robmenak_music.htm

That's my Soundclick page, and it has some originals and covers there.  You have to be a member to download, but you can stream it off the page for free.

The newest song up there is "Let it be a Tragedy," which is something I recorded today (yesterday?  July 18) in about 10 hours (including a 2 hour nap, hah).  The song was written December 27, 2000 (yes, I keep track of these things, strange, innit?), and I finally got the urge to record it.  Let me know what you think!

Kuzin Dan and I are recording an album.  The basic tracks for 8 songs are recorded, and we hope to be done by the end of the year, given we are working on it in drips and drabs.  It's a 100% classic metal album, and it's going to rock when it's done.

Ah, so it's been a while.  Lots of school work to do.  But I have great news!  You can now download my drum solo from the Mike Portnoy Forumers drum solo contest!  See the media page for details!

By request, I have added a video clip of me playing along to the Rush song "Between the Wheels" on the media page.

Well, the semester is finally over, so I should be making some quick updates in the next few weeks.  There's some video of me playing on the media page.  Enjoy!

Site started.  Welcome!
This site is a work in progress!  I don't even know what the color scheme should be!  I'm almost done with this semester, so this site should be rolling in a few days/weeks.
